SeapixOnlineDisplaying 94 of 11118 LUNASEA (ex-HASNA), built in 2017 by Feadship at their Haag Island facility, the 73m (239’6”) superyacht arrives into Auckland under heavy skies.
She was brought almost to a halt, down to a speed of 1.4 knots (according to AIS) in the Rangitoto Channel, seemingly having fishing net wrapping around her props.
The incident only slowed her for a few minutes before she proceeded into her Silo Marina berth at around 9.5 knots.
LUNASEA is 1577gt and cruises at a speed of 14 knots with a maximum of 16 knots.
She has accommodation for 12 guests in 7 cabins and a crew of 20. Her interior styling by British design company RWD.
As HASNA she was owned by Australian businessman John Symond but he sold her in 2019 to Yahn Bernier, the millionaire director and developer of video game company Valve Corporation.
