Long involved with the Americas Cup, she was once owned by billionaire Bill Koch, owner of America3 which won the 1992 Americas Cup. When NZ won the Americas Cup in 1995, Koch sold the boat and it was shipped to Auckland. It now caters for weddings and private and corporate functions and is one of the most popular charter vessels sailing the Waitemata Harbour.
