E.R. NEW YORK (2003/39941grt/50843dwt/IMO 9238789, ex-CMA CGM NIIGAL, ANL PACIFIC, CMA CGM NEW YORK. Renamed MSC MANU) departs Auckland bound for Brisbane, Australia. On 4 February while loading in Timaru, high winds buffeting the ship saw her stern mooring lines snap. Prompt action by a pilot and two tugs returned her to her berth, the only damage being a broken mooring bollard.
