She and two others, all owned by Campbell, went to the WWII Dunkirk evacuation of 1940. BLUE BIRD is, at the date of this picture, Dutch-owned and based in Rotterdam. She is seen here outbound at Southampton, England as Red Funnel's Isle of Wight ferry Red Jet 3 passes to starboard. Astilleros de Mallorca completed the restoration of M/Y Blue Bird in 2007 after her Dutch owner sold her to British interests.
