Papeete, Tahiti. The islands trader is the APANUI, bought by H. Williams in the Cook Islands from the Northern Steam Ship Company the previous year. She had been built as the GOLDFINDER in Hamburg in 1938. 296 tons gross, Official Number 166615. In 1964 she was declared unseaworthy and she was scuttled outside Avatiu Harbour 24 Dec 1965.
