SeapixOnline- Workboats - 6 of 33 CURLEW (built 1913) - took line honours in the 2010 Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta tug race sponsored by Professional Skipper magazine. Curlew was a first-time entrant and only last year was facing an ignominious end after laying almost forgotten and unloved in Opua in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand's Far North.
