SeapixOnline- General Maritime Images - 13 of 106 It seems every man (and his dog!!) were on the water to farewell the 2009/10 Round the World Clipper fleet as it sailed out of Portsmouth Harbour in England on 31 August on to make their way north to the official start line at Hull.
The race, due to begin on 13 September will follow the route from Hull to La Rochelle (France), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Cape Town (South Africa), Perth (Western Australia), Singapore, Qingdao (China), California (USA), Panama Canal, Caribbean, New York (USA), Sydney (Cape Breton Island) Kinsale (Ireland), then a European stop-over to the race finish in Hull (UK) around July 2010.
