SeapixOnline- Heavy-Lift, Offshore Supply, Anchor Handlers - 37 of 233 FAR GRIP (1993/2766grt/IMO 9060352) an anchor handling/tug/supply vessel operated by Farstad Shipping of Aalesund, Norway has spent the last year providing rig support services off the Taranaki coast of New Zealand. She srrivied in NZ in 2004 towing the drilling rig OCEAN PATRIOT from South Africa in conjunction with another vessel LADY CAROLINE. FAR GRIP is seen here in drydock at the VT Fitzroy yard in Auckland undergoing an extensive repair and refurbishment programme. She will return to rig supply work off Taranaki.
