EXTRA INFO:
Built by Soc . Espanola de Const. at Balboa in 1962 as Princesa Isabel for Brasilian coastal passenger service. In 1969 she was sold to Dominion Far East Line and converted by Barclay Curle into the cruise ship Marco Polo. (Her sister Princesa Leopoldina became Swire's Coral Princess). She cruised out of Australia to the Far East as Marco Polo until 1978 when she was sold to Greek owners and renamed Aquamarine. She had a fairly chequered history thereafter, often being arrested for unpaid debts, and as Lucky arrived at Alang on 25 January 2008 to be broken up. (Dominion Far East Line was a joint venture between Jardine Matheson of Hong Kong and Australia's H. C. Sleigh).
