SeapixOnline- Miscellaneous Vessels - 32 of 133 GEO RESOLUTION (1989/1913grt, ex-HMNZS RESOLUTION) - The former Royal New Zealand Navy hydrographic survey ship HMNZS RESOLUTION was acquired by EGS Group of the UK in 2014 following decommissioning by the RNZN in 2012. She was renamed GEO RESOLUTION.
The 68m vessel was converted for commercial survey purposes in SIngapore and is now equipped for survey work in waters to a depth of 2000m.
Making her first visit to her former home port since decommissioning GEO RESOLUTION she is seen here berthing at Auckland's commercial wharfs to take on bunkers.
