The free-for-all race sees tugs and towboats, new and old and of all shapes and sizes turn the waters of the Waitemata Harbour into a seething washtub. Here we see the tiny 1938-built TUNA, Thomson Towboats' WAINUI, the 2004-built BIG BUD and the grand old lady of the Waitemata Harbour, the stately preserved steam tug WILLIAM C.
