The 89' ketch STEINLAGER 2 passes inbound to Auckland's Viaduct Basin. Now owned and operated by the NZ Sailing Trust STEINLAGER 2, when skippered by the late, great, Sir Peter Blake, took line honours in every leg of the 1989-90 Whitbread Round-the-World Yacht. She was then, and is still, the only yacht to ever have completed a clean sweep of the race, today named the Volvo Ocean Race (and with vastly altered course).
