SeapixOnlineDisplaying 3 of 3 RADIANCE OF THE SEAS (2001/90090gt/IMO 9195195) eases away from her Wynyard Wharf berth in Auckland at the end of her maiden call. Outbound to Sydney, Australia she dwarfed the French-flagged cable layer ILE DE RE (1982/14091/IMO 8200278, ex-PREROW, GLEICHBERG, CITY OF DUBLIN). With Ports of Aucklands' bunkering tanker AWANUIA currently in Tauranga assisting with the salvage operation of the container ship RENA, RADIANCE OF THE SEAS spent some sixteen hours alongside the Wynyard Wharf shoreside bunkering terminal. ILE DE RE was moved to mid-harbour to make room for the 90090gt cruiser.
