SeapixOnline- Warships - 1 of 1 HMNZS ENDEAVOUR (A-11), Royal New Zealand Navy's fleet tanker, arriving back in Auckland after spending three months on deployment in South East Asia. This is the second deployment to Asia and South East Asia this year having returned from the last deployment at the beginning of July.
ENDEAVOUR, along with the frigate HMNZS TE MANA (F-111), has been taking part in a series of international defence exercises involving ships and personnel from eight countries. These exercises tested our ability to work with other nations in challenging scenarios, reflective of the real-world environment.
During the course of her deployment, ENDEAVOUR, with her crew of 48, conducted port visits to Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. This included the first visit of an RNZN warship to Jakarta, Indonesia in over 14 years. She sailed for scrapping in India on 20 March 2018 under the name ENDEAVOUR ALOFI.
