SeapixOnline- Sailing Ship, Tall ships - 1 of 1 TED ASHBY (1993) - a replica of the wooden scows which hauled timber and other bulk cargoes around the coast of early New Zealand. Being flat-bottomed allowed them access inland along the shallow tidal rivers. TES ASHBY is operated by the NZ National Maritime Museum in Auckland.
