SeapixOnlineDisplaying 1 of 2 ASTRID (1918/140grt/IMO 5027792) a square-rigged brigantine built in Scheveningen in the Netherlands as a freight logger, seen at her berth in Weymouth, Dorset, England before new Dutch owners bought her in 1998. On 24 July 2013, she was driven aground onto rocks off the coast of southern Ireland where she broke up and sank. Thankfully all 30 crew and trainees were rescued by the RNLI.
