SeapixOnlineDisplaying 98 of 11052 NAUTILUS (1913) - the latest addition to Auckland's National Maritime Museum's fleet of heritage craft. During her life she has been used as a private family cruiser, a charter boat, a ferry and travelled the globe, especiially noteworthy being her time spent as one of two motorboats carried by the WWI hospital ship MARAMA during hostilities in the Mediterranean from 1915.
She was donated to the museum in 2011 and over the past five years has undergone total restoration by a team of passionate staff and volunteers.
